One of the things I like to do best (in any fandom) is to take canon scenes and write the bits we didn't see or hear, and to do that, you need to use the original dialogue.
And you do this so well. But you've been doing it for a while, and I consider myself a relative newbie. That comment really made me take a hard look at what I've posted and I started doubting myself.
