Thanks everyone for the good wishes

My day was very mellow. A hot tub filled with lavender bubble bath, stayed in my PJs til 11:00, didn't have to go in to work, had coffee with my best friend Deb.

The really fun part was my mammogram and all that squishing of mammary parts *ouch!*, followed by panic and frantic typing of last month's minutes of the Fire Dept Business Meeting in time for this month's business meeting, which just happened to fall on my birthday.

The good part was that we had a big BBQ picnic with all the fixin's, and the meeting was fairly painless.

The only thing missing was the CAKE!!!!! I of course gave them a bit of grief about that *gg*.

I have a bottle of bubbley chilling in the frig, which I plan to drink this evening. I did have dinner with friends last Friday, and there were four birthday girls in attendance, so we did get a chance to celebrate, even if a bit early.
