Heh. Season 5 made no sense whatsoever, I agree. The problem is in my head, I'm afraid - I just can't see him leaving his son and coming back to Section (echoes of Charles Sand). Post-S4 - oh yes, definitely. Post-S5? Not really. OTOH, I can't muster much interest in the kind of life he would have *outside* Section. So basically, I don't think much about post-S5 Michael at all.

I don't think Nikita was ready, either, or that she was the best candidate available. But I think she could learn. And she has always been one to rise to challenges.
