100 word drabble
Regrets? He had too many. Getting involved in the family business. Going undercover for Interpol. Not looking after his younger brother well enough. Never telling his father the truth.
Most of all he regretted the loss of the probing eyes, lush lips, soft hair and sarcastic wit. But it was his own fault. To make his true heart’s desire jealous and to appease both his father and his superiors he took his intended’s most prized possession.
Seeking a kindred spirit in his unwanted companion was his final folly and now he was on the run from friends and foe alike.
