Subject: The Name On The Grave
In reply to: JayBee and Nell 's message, "Friday Challenge: October 14, 2005" on Friday, October 14, 09:41:47am

Ivan and I are walking towards the corner of the churchyard. I cursorily look at the names marking the graves like people always seem to do in cemeteries. Then Ivan signals to me to look up at the spot where we are to do the pick up. There is a woman nearby. Standing over a grave. Touching the headtsone. Probably her husband. Or brother. Tall blond hair. Striking looks. A nice change than the normal things and people I see on other opick-ups. I never seemed to get any good missions, until now. We reach the bench. I reach under it with my arms. Nothing! Check again. Nothing still! The woman?! We look over and she is gone. I grab my gun out of my jacket. Same time as Ivan. We are trained well. Where is she? Running towards the car we look around for her. No-one is to be seen.

I shout to Gregor in the car. "There was a woman in black! Where did she go?"

No answer.

I see movement in the back seat of the car. There she is. I see her too late. I feel the bullet before I hear the sound of the gun. Funny thing is...I saw my name on a tombstone as I was walking to the bench. Walters.
