I have this image in my head - that has no story attached to it at present so don't look for it to be realized any more than what follows, any time soon (or possibly ever! - images of mine don't always get stories!) - of Michael on one far side of a nice big california king, and Jurgen on the other - with a nice warm, Nikita-sized depression between them while they wait for Nikita to come back.

What intrigues me with this image and scenario is the possiblity of Nikita refusing to choose between them, and instead inviting them both, together - and the two men accepting that invitation and that limitation, for a variety of complicated reasons. That without her as a conduit, there isn't a threesome - only two men who don't really like or trust each other very much but are willing to be fuckbuddies in the context of threesome sex if she is there, because with her there is a relationship and a conduit - their bond, if you will, is that they both admire and desire her.

So it isn't lame m/m where she hooks up the boys and then slinks away, but m/f/m that could be either m/f couple, but probably not the m/m couple without her. Which is the tension and internal conflict in my relationships that I love to see....*g*

Add to that then, the way center, Adrian, and Paul and Madeline both seek to control Nikita through threats on Michael's life.....but she can't tell either of them about any of that, and that Jurgen will be able to have limited control over both of them by holding his information that Niktia was not a captive of Red Cell's for six months over their heads because depending on how he spins it at the very least Nikita will be disassembled in the white room by the torture twins, and Michael's mission marriage to Elena - and, well, lots and lots of possibilities here!
