Since I came to the series and to the fiction very late in the game, I'm curious about the work that was created at the beginning. From time to time, when I read something that seems to have a hopeful cast to the M/N relationship, or the environment of Section, a little light goes on in the back of my skull that reads "early work." I thought it might be interesting to look at that phenomenon.
