When I was a kid I always wrote my name as Joan P., even when sending letters to my parents from summer camp (eventually they told me I could skip the P as they knew who I was). Maybe it was because there were three Joans in my class when I started elementary school. But I haven't seen it written that way in maaaaaany years, so thanks for the memory jogging.
And for answering my question above as to whether you might be travelling eastward one of these seasons (since I don't think I'm heading west).
