I like this pa. You're right, geo, the kids and I are typically out of the house from about 8:30 am until about 4 pm at least 4 days of the week (sometimes less, sometimes more). So if we consider the energy pull on an empty house, multiplied by the number of similar homes in teh country - what's the energy cost?

Our Gov. has required all thermostats in WI offices 'locked' at 68. But that's 68 24/7 - so wondering how much is lost there....

Maybe a little experiment of 1.....
