None of those actually. It is a post from someone who is testing Ben and his friends to see if they are worthy for things that may be yet to come.

This may be because I've been reading a lot of "The Wheel Of Time" recently, but that comment does not exactly put me at ease. Now I feel like my posts are being analyzed by freaky-deaky strangers, and in case you don't know me, quantity tends to be more important than quality. I mean, take a look at how many times I've posted here!

So, stranger in the dark, (metaphorical, internet dark) show yourself! Desist in these pathetic attempts at manipulation and intimidation. We are not sheep or mice, to be prodded, herded, or tested! I refuse to play your silly games any longer. Face me and the other loyal factitious fans in the open, (metaphorical, internet open) with honor.

That is, if you have the courage.

That being said, I'm gonna borrow a leaf from Eric Heaton's book.

I refuse to be insulted by Anonymous, even if s/he has been around for several centuries. I'll have you know that I am interesting enough for everyone's attention. I'm astonishingly interesting, and your incorrect assessment of me is simply an indication of how ignorant you really are.

I gave you and your friends a test in order to determine how interesting you were. The initial results were "mildly" interesting. That was not high enough to truely justify maintaining attention with you. I have kept a little attention with you because you did display levels of mild interest, which could have the potential of becoming more interesting.

Okay, so even I will be the first to admit that this is a lame retort. The only reason this flame war (or whatever the hell it is) is bugging me is because I appear to be losing. So, I hereby declare a cease-fire, or at least a lessening of tensions. It still bugs me that I don't know who this is (I still suspect that it is someone I know, but am now willing to admit that that might not be the case), but I'll live.

Now that we've got that out of the way, I direct you to my post "Forum Longevity". I have a question in there that still needs to be answered. This applies to all who visit this site, I might add.
