Subject: Democracy in Action

Although I'm well aware that this site is no democracy, I cast my vote for the old forum set-up.

In this decision, I am backed up by many prominent figures, including (but not limited to), Ben Franklin, Eva Braun, Margaret Mead, Michael Moore, the van Pels who accompanied Anne Frank in hiding, and Sergei Eisenstein.

Any mere idiot can figure out how to click on a topic to open it. I doubt that Factitious wants the reputation of catering to sub-human bottom-feeders. Plus, there's presently way too much text to wade through. I want an easy way of seeing if someone has responded to my latest witty "oeuvre du jour".

As much as it galls me to agree with Maryna (just on general principle, Maryna dear. Where would this forum be without controversy? It's nothing personal) I think she's right. It's much nicer to see at a glance what's new.

I think Factitious just likes to keep is on our toes, like an evil overlord (like Ming!). I am pretty sure that he also likes changing his site as often as possible, because customization is fun. That being said, change it back to the way it was. Seriously. It was nicer that way. Less confusing.

Oh, and Albert, the forum without controversy would be where it was when practically no one posted for days at a time. Boring.
