Received copy of your letter. Thank you . I am retired and living in Victoria , Vancouver Island,
I taught at Speke for several years after the war before coming to Canada.Been retired now for 20 years so can now call myself an Ould Codger at 85. Pass on my Best Wishes to Spekeites.

I remember you Ted, you used to put the glass cupboard doors on an angle so you could see the class behind whilst writing on the board! you caught me putting a sweet in my mouth once!

I remember you very well Ted ...when we went on a school holiday to Hereford you went with us. You used to come around the camp at night with a tent peg and wack everyone who wasn't asleep in the tents. We camped right on the shore of the river Wye. It was a lovely holiday with all of my school mates....Oh by the way we used to call you "Tent Peg Swain" after that.

my dad taught at st christophers in speke also had to endure being in his class maybe you met
