\.the fae stood, numb, beneath the large tree. tucked away in it's shadow, she was nearly invisible, dark dapples camoflauging her from prying eyes. she stood, listless and silent, staring into space. a tear threatened to roll down her cheek, but she choked it back. she would not cry. ever. never would she ever cry for anyone ever again. eyes dry once more, she lays down near the base of the great tree. lying her head on a root, she falls asleep, defeated and fatigued./
