From her hidden spot within a copse of trees, the splotched mare watched the reappearance of Fusion. Sharp gaze landed on the chestnut, jaded orbs narrowing into slits. Tufted flutes lace back upon cranium, sharp ivories gritted together to discourage outbursts. Streaked whipcord danced 'round scarred hocks and tangled tresses danced upon the wind before resettling on the mare's scored neck. Her thoughts ran darkly through her quick mind, dozens of unrepeatable epithets for the chestnut fighting to be called out...to name the usurper truly. "Vulture" seemed to be the tamest of the bunch. The powerful mare held her ground, listening very carefully to every word that was uttered, watching closely to mark every bit of body language. At the first sign that the chestnut was trying to make a move on her father, Misa would once again make the other regret it. Patience was her virtue, so in the darkened shadows, she waited.
