The Ladybug Transistor

Their self-titled LP has received rave reviews across the UK press and is available to buy now. Mojo said the LP was 'Richly arranged... with a Jim O'Rourke twang.' Uncut thought it was 'Like Belle & Sebastian slopping sorbet with early Jonathan Richman.' The 13 tracks of lush pop were recorded at Wavelab Studios in Tucson, with Craig Schumacher (Calexico, Giant Sand, Neko Case).

+ Richmond Fontaine

Exquisitely bittersweet, pain-blasted country-rock from America's West Coast.

+ James William Hindle

mixes a range of styles from pop to folk to country

Herman Dune

This Swedish outfit, fronted by the brothers Dune, continue to amaze and delight with their cheeky, folksie, off-kilter pop and an absolutely beautiful record. They lazily meander through different moods, in songs filled with coy lyrical observations about their love-hate relationship with the US, where this album was recorded.

plus Royal City
Royal City bring their own lo-fi Americana. Stuttering drums, spacey banjo and deathbed vocals.

plus guests i guess
