The Seven Inches celebrate my birthday with our longest set yet, with old neglected songs and brand new songs alike. Subject matter includes rowing, cliques, caffeine-fuelled late nights, failiure, the legacy of Hanna Barbera, travelling across Canada, pretension, and fear. Instrumentation includes trumpets, synths and guitars, melodica, and what my bandmates would call unneccesary percussion. Influences include pop, punk, rock n roll, pop, show tunes, glam, krautrock, folk, antifolk, new wave and pop. An inclusive, parcipatory, unpredicable spectacle. I hate going on like this about my own band but we don't have a publicist to do the dirty work for us.

The Devil's Jukebox are posessed by the ghosts of heroin-addled blues musicians from a smoky 30s whorehouse. They will set you on fire with their clarinet, ukelele, accordian and packing case inferno.
