Here is the heat sink and fan. IT has special braackets that come with to hold in. It is a copper based heat sink so it keeps the cpu cooler

The heat sink comes with some sort of thermal compound on it all ready but some suggest to scrape that off and put some of this special compound on

It's up to you, it will help keep your cpu like 2 or 3 degrees celsius cooler, but since you aren't going to be pushing it toit's limits all the time you probably don't need it.
