Hey Kash, I've had an idea about how to make the vote as fair as possible. I think it would be a good idea if, sometime before the vote, we had a thread that gives an extract of all the episodes so far. Not a huge chunk, just a couple of lines, to remind the voter of the episode. Does that sound like a good idea?

That way the readers would get a sense of each episode, and they can go back and re-read it if it's one they missed or can't remember.

I know it's a lot of work, but I think it would be worth it. What do you think?

...in each voting thread there will be a plot summary of each ep to remind people of what happened, and also a few words of encouragement asking people to go back and read the episodes (or at least skim over them all).

I'll make sure there is plenty of focus on earlier eps as well as later ones.

People are already voting for the finale writer on the C&S. Make them stop! Better let them know that there's going to be an official vote at some point in the future.

I'd be tempted to include a quote or snippet of each episode as well as a summary, but I know it would mean loads of work.

By the way, can you have Episode 11 listed as written by me and Ian_Under_Amber's_Spell? You can include a note saying that we count as one writer. It's just that he really did co write the episode with me, so he deserves the credit.

The only thing is, I'm pretty eager to get the voting started *today*. We don't want to wait too long before we have our writers decided upon, because they'll still have to have time to settle on an actual plot!

And I don't have time today to read each ep and pick out the nifty dialogue snippets, but tomorrow I might. Today's will just be the episode summaries.

I haven't seen a post yet today. I think the sooner the better when it comes to voting, but of course we all could have figured that out haha. Just thought I'd put my two cents in on that.

Also, come on we need our season 9 info! lol Kash you can't make us wait any longer! We've all been waiting *somewhat* patiently in suspence. You promised right after 21 and it's after ep 21 now...
