I've just gone through them all and given synopses for the eps - some synopses are longer on the "arc" eps simply because there's more to say (and not because of any favouriteism, I love them all!)

Welcome to the Finale Voting for the Season Eight Fanfiction Series.

Below you�ll find episode summaries for the entirety of Season Eight, as well as the name of the writer.

Voting will work thusly:

You will vote for TWO writers, stating who is your FIRST choice (your favourite writer) and your SECOND choice (second favourite writer).

ALL voting will be done by email. Any votes made on the Board will be DISREGARDED, and you won�t be eligible to vote again. The votes are to be sent to kashmanik@hotmail.com

EPISODE SUMMARIES:

8.01 � �SEEK� by Neil:

Buffy experiences a series of disturbing Slayer dreams, and is threatened in her sleep by an unknown entity. Meanwhile, in New York, a mysterious figure slays a vampire, then attacks it�s would-be victim.

8.02 � �GROWN UP� by Inner Moppet:

Xander faces a difficult decision when he is offered a job in another state, and starts to question his place in the Scooby Gang, leading to some advice from an unexpected source. Meanwhile, Anya and Giles decide to rebuild and reopen the Magic Box, and Faith begins to face up to her past.

8.03 � ��IT�S A MAGIC NUMBER� by Sam The Eagle:

Whilst Willow communes with the earth, she feels a scream of pain, setting the gang off on the hunt for a youth-sucking demon which is prowling the town.

8.04 � �THE CHOSEN THREE� by Faithsguy:

As Buffy and Faith realise they are sharing Slayer dreams, they decide to embark on a journey to discover their meaning, encountering a vision of Tara along the way. After being attacked by a new vampire in town, a sired Slayer named Raven, the vision quest takes on a new urgency. After experiencing another shared dream, Buffy and Faith hunt down Raven, but she escapes to the hideout of her master. The witch, Amy.

8.05 � �PAST TENSE� by anyas_butt_monkey and Faithsguy:

Whilst Amy receives a scroll that Raven located, the vampire summons a demon named the Missionary to banish 3 of the Scoobs to another dimension, where Dawn, Xander and Spike face their worst fears. Giles is also forced to confront the truth about the murder of Ben.

8.06 � �THE LONELY ONE� by Crumpet:

In a series of flashbacks we learn that Raven was a Slayer in Spain in 1518 named Isabella, who was sired by her Watcher under the orders of the Inquisition in an effort to purify the vampire species. Meanwhile, in the present day, Raven kidnaps Giles for information on her sired Watcher, Benito.

8.07 � �BROKEN WINDOWS� by BunnyPhobia:

Anya is haunted both by her past as a vengeance demon and by an old fling, Torg, who cursed her 600 years ago. Meanwhile, Buffy, Xander, Willow and Kennedy attend a formal dinner, unaware of the danger Anya is in.

8.08 � �RIDING THE WAVE� by Sgt. Rock

Raven transforms four humans into powerful demons to do her bidding, whilst the gang have a clean-out of the Summers attic, uncovering some old memorabilia as well as Tara�s Book of Shadows, a spell book and diary combined. Raven and the Four seize a mystical stone that was once owned by Tara in order to carry out their plans, and Willow passes on Tara�s Book of Shadows to Dawn, believing she should be the one to have it.

8.09 � �INFLECTION� by Wyvern

When Faith appears to have been killed, Kennedy receives the Slayer power. But as she readjusts to this new life, stranger things begin to occur, as the Scoobs behaviour changes dramatically, and nothing is what it seems�

8.10 �THICKER THAN WATER� by Kashmanik

Dawn, Giles, Anya and Andrew are left at the Magic Box whilst the others leave Sunnydale in pursuit of a demon courier working for Amy, whose alliance with Raven is starting to become shaky. When Dawn begins to become curious about what happened when she was kidnapped by Glory, she uncovers Giles first plan to kill her, leading to a confrontation between the pair. After defeating a demon leprechaun they patch things up, as the gang returns with the demon�s package � a mystical watch.

8.11 � �THE POWERS THAT DO� by Linda Delurked

When Willow is magically attacked by an unseen force, the gang leap into action, discovering that Amy is the figure behind the recent goings-on in town. Faith and Xander embark on a mission to interrogate Amy, leading to a bad choice made by Xander. Unknown robed figures deliver a special scroll to Amy � all of Willow�s knowledge, drained from her.

8.12 � �HOTSHOT� by that one guy

A childe of Raven, named Terral, arrives in Sunnydale seeking out his sire. He kidnaps Dawn and later Faith, revealing some interesting information about the Sired Slayer. Whilst Xander heads out to the rescue, the Four unexpectedly turn on Raven, dragging her down to the High School basement.

8.13 � �RITUAL ME THIS� by Spike�s Bird

Whilst the Four begin a ritual upon Raven, the Scoobs attempts to celebrate Buffy�s 23rd birthday are interrupted by an earthquake, which also shakes the Magic Box where Anya is flirting with an unknown man. As the Scoobs close in on the High School to stop the ritual Raven escapes, saving Giles� life in the process, as the Four sacrifice themselves to complete the spell, ripping open the Hellmouth and sending Kennedy, Giles and Faith tumbling into it.

8.14 � �MINIME PERCURSUM ITER� by anyas_butt_monkey

Trapped within the depths of the Hellmouth, Faith is confronted by an old face with a new agenda. Meanwhile, on the surface, D�Hoffryn makes contact with Anya to announce the coming Apocalypse, leading to an ambitious plan to capture and interrogate the Vengeance Demon master. As Giles, Faith, Spike and Kennedy escape the Hellmouth they are attacked by a powerful demoness, released by the portals destruction.

8.15 � �CRISIS� by imisstara

When Giles behaviour starts to confuse the Scoobies, they discover he may not be who he seems. Meanwhile, Buffy and Dawn are distracted by a significant anniversary, and we learn that the demoness from the Hellmouth is in fact Proserpexa.

8.16 � �CONNECTED� by Wyvern and BunnyPhobia

At the High School, a brief encounter between Xander and Amy leads to a confused Xander fleeing, believing himself to be a murderer. As the gang becomes divided on what to do with Xander they must work to track him down, until he leads them to Kingman�s Bluff, and an all-too familiar sight, as Proserpexa�s Temple rises from the earth.

8.17 � �REVISITATIONS� by anyas_butt_monkey

Riley returns and works with Giles to steal the Slayer power from Buffy and Faith, whilst Dawn and Sam Finn battle it out in a no-holds barred, Matrix-esque showdown, and Spike, Willow and Andrew all decide to get naked together. Luckily, Pam and Bobby wake up before things get too confusing.

8.18 � �TARGET� by Mark

Whilst Kennedy and Dawn patch up their differences over Xander, he and Anya are attacked by Proserpexa, who perceives Anya as a threat to her plans. As the Scoobs come to help them, Proserpexa suddenly leaves, promising that now is not the time. Surprisingly, Angel turns up at the Summers House.

8.19 � �MIRROR� by JSlayerUK

Whilst Spike, Buffy and Faith head back from helping Angel in L.A., the other members of the gang begin to experience disturbing portents of an Apocalypse. Or four. The gang split into teams to deal with four separate threats to the future of the world. Meanwhile, Amy has become suspicious of Proserpexa, and once again summons Raven to help her seize Proserpexa�s power.

8.20 � �SHATTER� by Kashmanik

After being shunned by Proserpexa, Amy turns to the Scoobs for help, inadvertently harming Willow in the process. Whilst the gang separates to hide Amy and take Willow for help, Anya is once again attacked by Proserpexa, but the former demon and Xander cripple Proserpexa. Dawn taps in to her Key energy and enters Amy and Willow�s minds to reawaken them, learning about Proserpexa and her Mirror in the process, leading to an assault on the Temple to steal the Mirror. Giles, Spike and Andrew are trapped elsewhere whilst Proserpexa murders Amy in cold blood, and releases an army of the Dead.

8.21 � �CLARITY� by Linda Delurked

Sunnydale is transformed into a disaster area when Proserpexa uses powerful magicks to shake the town to the ground, reducing everything to rubble. Whilst Xander, Anya and Kennedy attempt to save earthquake survivors they meet a young girl who Xander bonds with. Meanwhile, Giles is badly injured in an abandoned building, whilst Spike and Andrew attempt to save him. Up on the Bluff, Willow, Dawn and Buffy recreate the enjoining spell, becoming one entity in order to stop Proserpexa. Faith races to the Bluff to help, slaying vampires on the way, but arrives too late and Buffy is speared in the heart by Proserpexa, as the Mirror shatters all of time.
