Say one thing and only one thing that you would like to see in a theoretical season 9. Nothing too big, like an entire storyline - I mean, maybe a scene between two characters, or one character, or whatever....

Here's my proposal: A scene between Anya and Faith, where they talk over their respective feelings for Xander. Who knows what the outcome could be, I just think these two need to hash things out....

Good call.

I'd really like Xander and Anya to finally work things out properly in S9, and although it isn't a very ME thing to do, I'd like them to have a happy ending. They were always the Buffyverse's last, best hope for that and we've been bringing them closer throughout S8 until they've reached a point where they really do have to evaluate where they want to go.

I know it's just me, and it's not the kind of thing we'll end up doing (but I write fanfic, so I can do it elsewhere, it's no big for me *g*) but I'd really like to them maybe go off to Vegas or whatever and the scoobies don't find out until they've been back for a couple of episodes that they've eloped :) After the Hells Bells debacle, I think that if they ever did marry that's the way they'd do it.

Thing is, it seems to me that we're slowly "fixing" things that ME either didn't want or didn't have time to do. We've given Xander an arc, we've explored Dawn's "keyness", we've followed up the aftermath of Grave. It would be nice to do some more of that.
