Um...well, the thing about implicit differentation is...q -- Linda_Delurked, 18:35:54 06/01/03 Sun
That those differentations are ... well... implicit!
And you should never pay more than £7:99 for a dot product, so be sure to shop around!

Actually, you're half right! -- anyas_butt_monkey *go Linda!*, 18:38:35 06/01/03 Sun
Implicit differentiation, from what I know (which, granted, isn't much), is basically about differentiating y with respect to x..... which you cant do, but the "implicit" part is when you take y to be dx, and go from there.... you don't have to explain it, you just jump ahead :)
And as for dot product's.... while it sounds like something internetty, its actually something to do with vectors....
There's an equation, although I've forgotten it :S

Ah yes. That x and y. So very different! -- Linda_Delurked *nodding wisely*, 19:02:40 06/01/03 Sun
Sounds like you really know what you're talking about. I hope your exams go well! English lit was always my forte. I did pass level maths in school and gave it up completely after I passed stats in first year in college. I figured that would be all the maths I'd need in real life!

Heh. You thought you'd need maths in real life?! -- anyas_butt_monkey, 19:54:58 06/01/03 Sun
Crazy lady...:)
Oh, and I shall be posting a Restless-like analysis of episode 17 tonight, after it airs....
Because, frankly, I think we'll all need it. Including myself :)
