Subject: Weird idea for Proser..... hear me out! :-)
This is just in it's draft stages, and it's only an *idea*, OK? Ok.
I was trying to think of ways to make Proser more than just a nasty demon. So, I got thinking, what if TPTB created her as the "afterlife". She could contain the "heaven" and "hell" dimensions that have been referred to on the show within herself - like a Tardis, just in the form of a snaky demon. :-)
This could be where TPTB really screwed up. Back in the days when humans were primitive and many demons were still roaming the world, they could have created Proserpexa as a final resting place for the poor, defenceless humans who were killed by demons. BUT, TPTB were very naive - they believed that very few humans would be bad enough to go to the Hell portion of Proserpexa, but as time has gone by, there are many more evil humans. This has caused Proserpexa to be thrown out of balance, since her whole personality is determined by the ratio of good and evil souls within her.
So, Proserpexa could be where Buffy was between S5 and S6, and also where Angel was between S2 and S3.
Is this making any sense at all? :-)
I just thought it might be interesting to make Proserpexa essentially a dimension in humanoid form. It could also draw Dawn into the finale - since as we know, Dawn breaks down dimensions. Perhaps she could destroy Proserpexa?
If you have any suggestions for how to expand this idea, please post them! :-)

I like some, dislike some.... -- Faithsguy, 13:26:33 04/04/03 Fri
I think we should leave where Buffy was out of the story. HOWEVER, I love the idea of Proserpexa being a dimension in the flesh. Maybe destroying time will be the only way that her dimension can come to be again and she can reign over it. We have made quite a few Key Refrences this season, plus hello, entire episode about Dawns keyness that ABM and I so carefully crafted. Maybe since there have to be a few tragedys or deaths this season we could have Proserpexa pluck the scoobs off one by one and then in the finale have Dawn travel through time and dimensions to bring them back, and eventually have the scoobys take on Proserpexa for control over the dimensions, but unlike other seasons, have Dawn be in control, in full control of her key powers.
The boardies seem to like Dawn and her "keyness"

If it's tragedy you're looking for, there's plenty in episode 21 -- Linda_Delurked, 16:24:48 04/04/03 Fri

Buffy, Willow, Dawn and Giles all die during episode 21. That's why I have Psomethingorother "win" at the end of my episode. Time is destroyed, so the others can be brought back if the finale writers want them to be. It gives them a blank slate to do anything they want.
Sorry for ruining the ending there, but I thought you should know :)

Re: -- Sgt. Rock, 16:57:46 04/04/03 Fri
She is several dimensions, trapped in another hell dimension, only to be released back into this dimension? Also if you kill her what happens to the souls? Are they released into this dimension? Are they destroyed? Wouldn't killing heaven be a bad thing??
Plus the way I think of the PTB is that time means nothing to them. They don't make mistakes because they already know everything that's going to happen, because time is something they can control, (we saw it on Angel S1).
I think the idea of having her destroy time, simply because she's evil, or wants to end her own existence, or whatever idea we are using already is fine as it is and this would just over complicate things.

I think... -- Mark, 18:43:04 04/04/03 Fri
I think it's an interesting concept, but it's just going to overcompensate things too much, in my opinion. I think we should just leave things as is and leave this aspect out. I mean, this could be used for a whole other villain in a whole other storyline if you wanted to continue this after S8. It's strong enough to be a story on its own. But, I don't think it fits in this.

Even if we don't go with this idea..... -- Kashmanik, 14:30:01 04/05/03 Sat
...I still think we need something to set Proserpexa apart from other demons; something that hasn't been tried on the show before.
I'm not saying we're changing her objectives or plot, as Sgt. Rock thought I meant. I'm simply saying that I think we need to deepen Proserpexa beyond just being a nasty demon.

I dont know how anyone feels about going Biblical -- Faithsguy, 16:23:09 04/06/03 Sun
but since we are having the horseman, what if Proserpexa was the serpant in the Garden of Eden and since Eve bit the apple that Proserpexa told her to, the whole pain and suffering entered the world as a result.
Proserpexa could be the whole reason that there is pain and hurt in the world.
After all, Willow was trying to channel her essence to destroy the world because of all the pain and suffering....

I don't think we should go that biblical, the horsemen are not at all like they are portrayed in the bible, and their earliest mention was the babylonian myths which someone mention a month or so ago.
Also, Giles says that the Eden story isn't true, with the demons ruling the planet first.
