Having read through the episodes (all brilliant so far) it occurrs to me that while the story is progressing nicely, I don't think we're getting a whole pile of character development.
Now Xander has had a good bit, which is cool, and Faithsguy's ep was great for character progression too, but overall I can't help thinking the characters are just drifting along with things happening to them, rather than actually progressing.
We originally had an idea that Dawn was going to learn magic from Tara's book of shadows, given to her by Willow. Apart from that, and the Giles killing Ben thing, what character progression to we have? Where do we want to see our characters end up? In what ways to they change and grow this year?
Just wondering. Oh, and I also have an idea to introduce Dawn's keyness in a subtle way. Every other spellcaster runs out of "power" at some time and needs to recharge. What if Dawn gradually finds over the episodes that she doesn't? What if her key side acts as an internal battery that keeps her supplied with power all the time? Just a thought :)

Yeah, I may give you a shout. I'm just a bit paniced, as I thought I had loads of time to write my ep, since it's 21!
Actually, I have 21 mostly written. Now I just need to figure out 11.
