and try to commune with PHowEverTheHeckYouSpellThatNameOfHers. Of course she's way too powerful and Amy's brain is completely fried by the experience. The scoobies find her running amock in Sunnydale, babbling about how her master is comming to destroy them all and no one can stop it. The Amy kills herself as a sacrifice.

I'm in two minds about using this. One the one hand it's a pretty powerful end to Amy's story that will bring a level of dread to the season that won't have been there before. Also, it's a bit more interesting than the standard "You have served your purpose now I shall destroy you!" betrayal thing that while nicely ironic, does get used a lot.

On the other hand, Amy committing suicide on the show is likely to be very upsetting. It's a dark and depressing end to a regular character that does have a fan base out there. And I did come up with an idea for her death scene that looking back I think may be a bit too much. Sure, it's powerful. So is an AK47. It still causes a lot of damage.

If we're going with the suicide thing I think we should have a dedicated thread to discuss it so that we can decide exactly how it should be approached. Other than that, I leave it in your more than capable hands :)
