Go check out the C&S - sLaP's post may be a problem for us.
It's a Faith fic series that he's writing, and the promo includes mention of "four horsemen". Oh.... Crap. If he's using this idea, we have a problem.
No one has discussed our ideas off this forum, have they? May just be coincidence that he's got the same idea, but...
Anyway, it may not be THE FOUR Horsemen, just four horsemen. We'll have to wait and see.
Just thought I'd warn everyone - major rethinks may be needed.

If you go to their site and read the first ep it IS the four horsemen, but they're done in a completely different way to us, so no big problem.

Though WE thought of it first!!!!
Not to sound like a leech, but I wouldn't be opposed to dropping the four horsemen anyway...Then we just have vamped slayer and prospexa to deal with, which is much simpler and leaves much more scope for my befuzzled brain to cope with.

Seriously, I think I can currently be considered somewhat objective since I'm not directly involved, and in my opinion I don't see it as a big deal that both storylines are using the four horsemen. After all, how many fanfics are out there with extremely similar plotlines? Many. It doesn't prevent many of them from being extremely well-written and equally intriguing, however.

lol something like this always has to happen, doesn't it? The idea of two competing fanfics even if they are COMPLETELY different, doesn't it just take away some specialness from ours? I dunno, I don't think the C&S people are going to have the patience to stick with Buffy the show, and TWO long term fanfics. We'll just have to make ours that much better! Hopefully theirs wont pan out.

There are other powerful forces that would take a little more explaining, but could have the same impact. What about that dragon in Norse myth that was supposed to encircle the world? Or the dragon Goddess Tiamat who legend says created the world from her blood? We could probably come up with something spectacular if we put our minds to it. Either that or just stick with the four horsemen ourselves.
I've only told one person so far about our baddies, and that was my 13 year old brother who hasn't been posting and is sworn to secrecy. His reaction when I told him who the middlish bad? "Awwwww, coooooooollllll!!!!"
