hi Kyla,
First of all, i like you and your postings! hope we can meet one of these days. i noticed right away that you are very articulate and a good writer.
as to $$$$$, i'm just going to try a mini brainstorming session: i could be wrong here, but i gather that you own the property where you live, probably having inherited it from your Mom? If so, could you in some way, gain income from this? Perhaps by renting out part of the house? ( i usually put myself in the teeny room or teeny shed or trailer out back and rent the house to someone else, which brings in much more $$ than if i had kept the house for myself). So my first suggestion would be to see if that property can somehow create some income for you.
Terribly sorry but i don't have any other suggestions at the moment (possibly because i've been sick for days, and sooo tired.......but give me more clues as to what you like to do and i'll try to help more....)
