Thanks Cassie, for coming out with this. I was getting worried the men in the white coats were going to be sent to get me. And by the way I haven't cut by hair since I let it be known! Again, I take my cues from animal behaviour, It's grooming. It relieves stress. Primates and other animals pick at themselves and others all the time. It bonds animals when they do it with each other. Maybe we are bonding to our own bodies also by this behaviour. It probably, also might be a carry over from baby animals being groomed by their mother. I know that it is thought that our petting of cats and dogs, is for them loved so much, because it is like their mother grooming them as babies.
