Hi Gill, Sorry it has taken me this long to respond. Well, the hyena, They just seem to me to hold the full intensity of every emotion, attitude,etc. They are very loving to their family, however the first female born in a litter always kills the second born sister at a certain age. And it amazes me that they can actually, working as a group, steal away a kill from a lion. Why do I relate to them so much? I guess its the way they exemplify all of everything. They are one of my primary totems. The other is the deer. Tell me more about your hyena experience, if you will. Blessings, Deidra
