"In a way, everything you do is reflected by things around you. It is like being in the mountains and calling out your own name. You can hear an echo, that is, an auditory reflection, coming back to you. It is as if the mountains are calling out your name. Reflections help us know that we are here." [Arnold Mindell in "Quantum Mind" (p. 108)]

"Reflections help us know that we are here." It was your and Paul's and Gill's reflections to my falling off my rocker that helped me know that I was here. Sometimes on this lonesome highway another voice can keep you on the road, can help you to remember that you do indeed exist and with that renewed sense of self you can keep on trucking for a little while longer.

I too am foregoing adept service (and therapy!) for awhile, while our income plumments, hopefully temporarily. This forum has been for me a place where I have found reflections that have made me come alive again.

I sense you landing here on this porch, amongst us all with all your trembling, your trepidation and your precise verbalization and I am in awe. I am just in awe.

With great welcoming, Cassie
