Hello everyone out there, I found out about this site last week and have been reading---some very disturbing comments,
now I realize this forum is were you vent.
But coming from the old school, pre message board days, if we had something to say, we would tell them in person.
I also know that I would be shocked to find out who some of these people really are.

I actaully do not mind you guys goofing on us, I am sure we have plenty of things to goof on, and at least you are talking about us, so I guess we are getting free advertising, thank you

sometimes you guys get a little more than carried away, especially when it comes to peoples reputations, so to set some of the record straight.
I am no saint and yes I am trying to build a team, both for the advertising value (we hope to become a national brand)
and the fun of the team.
Yes we did start as a fun team (mtb actaully) and yes we have many strong riders that have grown from beginners to sports to experts, and yes we also have many home grown riders on the road that have grown from cat 5 to cat 3.
We are also very excited to have riders we great talent that did not start on our team (the pirtles, fletcher, moran, ozenberger, kersha)
I would like to think that somehow Dogfish has helped these riders grow, but ultimately it is the individual that becomes the great rider.
And yes we do accept anyone, and some of them get seriuos an some don't--but we all like to bike--we all like to bike--
Now I will also admit that we have had a tough year with sponsors, both getting them and of course ultimately getting the money from them. I am scrambling and working very hard to get more money for oour race budget.
now back to individuals, over the last couple of years.
I have personally helped many riders, (men and women) some with actaul bikes, some with clothing etc. If the desire was their and for some reason not the funds I try to help.
And the whole get a free bike for sex thing, come on you guys, these are real people you are talking about. not nice.

Now about Kevin Livingston, first of all, for those of that talked with him or know him, he is one of the most humble guys I have met, I mean this guy has done the Tour De FRance 5 times, now I know you guys are really fast and on really seriuos teams, so you have to respect his abilities
and accomplishments. I am lucky to have him associated with Dogfish.
And yes, I am hoping this association will help us bring in the bigger sponsor for next year so we can feed the fast boys here in town

I think I covered most of it
so flame on and thanks again for the FREE ADVERTISING
