i really wish a few bad apples wouldn't ruin the fun for everyone. dogfish serves a great purpose here in town. they do a good job of introducing riders to racing and gets them involved in the scene. who else does that on such a large scale? (bigshark notwithstanding)

most of us (even those of us that get dissed on here quite often!!) know that most of the shit talk comes from people who don't really know what goes on in a race. i don't think bad of dogfish because some doofus with a jersey thinks its funny to see me get beat. anyone that races out there with us deserves respect, and they also know what it's like to have to hold on to dan's wheel. no one in that situation writes in the bullshit about who-beats-who. it's usually the people who aren't capable of being in that sort of mix that like to stir the pot about the less fortunate come pay-table time. i say less fortunate because it's pretty hard to call a hard-working bike racer a loser, in my humble opinion, even if they are a beginner. you gotta start somewhere, and the best thing that could happen is the doofus's could shut the hell up, respect their fellow bike racers for putting in the time and effort, and get out on the bike.
