Did it ever cross your mind that the guy was making fun of you?

Whenever I'm at a filling station or coffee shop where cyclists have stopped for a break, I routinely ask "hey, are you guys doin' that tour dee france thingy?" Or "Y'all getting ready for the tour of france," or even better "tour de pants."

I love the rolled eyes, smirks and smug responses I get.

Why? Because I love how much I can rely on cyclists being so self righteous, self absorbed and so certain that they are the fucking coolest thing ever.

It would never cross their minds that they are being gigged. Kind of like you.

By "special" cycling shoes, he meant short bus "special."
He probably also asked if you wear your hockey helmet when your riding, too.

Retard.
