I was thinking about walking all day, trying to figure out when i was going to do it. With a 17.5 month old at home its tough sometimes to do anything. It was 7:30 and I just remembered about walking. I have the list posted on the board in the office and I noticed it. Oh yeah! Well, told dh to watch ds and I was going fo a walk. Grabbed the discman, bundled up warm and went for a walk, I even brought my watch to keep track of the time. I live in a small town so the streets aren't very long. I live on 8th and walked down to 1st, only 10 mins, boy this is going to be tough, so I walk two streets down, only another few minutes, so I start looping around towards home, only three streets down from the house and still 10 minutes to go, weird, go up a street and then go over another street, this is the hard part because it's up hill and I didn't even lose stride still kept up the pace, guess the smokes are hurting yet. No more of those, i love that feeling.
When I talked to the nurse she was telling me about how the heart has to work extra hard in overweight people to get the oxygen out to the further parts of the body, and that it takes about 10 to 15 minutes to get all those arteries and veins to widen to let all the oxygen through, well, by the time I got home it felt so good to have all the oxygen running through this body. I love it.
Oh gosh, he I am rambling on and on. Sorry, if you got this far. Thanks
