Author: Carol Currier
Subject: TS Formidable 1939-1945

My father was sent to TS Formidable on (approx) 3rd September 1939 until sometime in 1945.
I am hoping to compile a wee book for him containing memories and photographs of the boys who were there during the second world war.
Could anyone also confirm that his CO was a man named Evans? Also he remembers an officer (possibly a Capt.) called Peebles.
My father's name is John Currier (although he may have been called Jack as well!) and he was from London.
Any memories would be gratefully received (my father groaned out loud when he saw the photographs on this site of the boys "splicing and knotting").
Obviously, if I can return any favours then I gladly will.
Thank You.
