 i am kind of on the same stance as cj. IF part of the bible can be l;iterally why not jesus saying he is the way to god why can't that be looked at metphorically. I am not gonna say anything is the truth i think we have inbetween periods were we might be in heaven and may not return immediately but, i think we do eventually return to earth for our spirits to grow fruther. THe prhase children of god is used many times in the bible perhaps jesus just did recognize it more. I know that muslims make this argument as to why jesus is not god since, to them it breaks thou shall have no gods before me. jesus's own divinity was not delcared until after he was dead by the church and i think if i recall right that it was a pretty close call when the issue was voted on
