Actually there are many ways of finding out if he actually lived, they've done many studies, they've taken his shroud that he was wrapped in, but it's undecisive because the shroud fabric is dated to the 400 AD area, the blood on there does have some elements of blood, but has crimson paint in it. they've tried finding skin tissue on all crusifixes found, trying to date the carbon in it back to when jesus was found, but so far no luck. Some say it's because of faith, belief, that people should believe in his existance instead of a cold hard fact that he lived, it'd take away his mysticalness and wonder.
