Hi Silverfox,

Sorry I haven't answered yet. Many apologies.

Buddah. Right. I actually studied Buddhism pretty in depth between 1997-1998 when I was in theological college. During this time myself and some of the other students also visited a buddhist temple. This was a westernized version of buddhism though called "The Friends of the Western Buddhist Order". This was a great help to the particular paper that I was writing for this course at the time though as I was Why is Buddhisn Attractive to Contemporary Europeans. Online at: http://www.spotlightministries.org.uk/budd.htm

Its not something I focus on much these days though as it is not something that really comes up much.

One of the main problems I have with buddah's teaching though is the buddhist view that there is no God (or that the subject of God is irrelevant, depending on who you talk to). The dali lama once said that buddhist are a type of atheists. This was certainly the view I got from the buddhists I spoke to at the Friends of the Western Buddhist temple I went to as well.

I may write some more on this later.
