Having seen marinas in the Greek Islands,Canary Islands,mainland Spain,UK etc etc. I have noticed that there can be a lot of boats moored but not many people to be seen and not a great deal of activity, locals or tourists. What activiity i did see was the unloading of supplies including foodstuffs from car boots onto the boats. I wonder where they did there shopping. Car parking generally was catered for on the quayside alongside the berths. I don't think many more people will come to Brid just to walk round a marina and i don't think that the boating fraternity will spend a great deal of time or money in Brid either. Maybe if the members of the Yorkshire Marina Partnership were to themselves elect to bail the marina out if it becomes necessary and not the Council Tax Payers then i might be more interested. If it is to be so good then let them put their money where their mouth is
