Hmmm...The top ten varies periodically, but there are a few consistant favorites that just don't seem to get old.

In no particular order:

1. Paul Simon--Graceland
2. Radiodhead--album/cd varies
3. They Might Be Giants--album varies
4. Tori Amos--album varies, though Boys for Pele is always a good choice
5. Flaming Lips--Soft Bulletin
6. Rushmore soundtrack
7. Do mix cds count? My brother has made me some killer mixes...
8. Morphine--The Night
9. The Beatles--White Album

I am sad to report that I can't think of other music right now. I'm exhausted from a long day in the heat and humidity, covered in mosquito bites, and have a pounding headache from dealing with 150 children, and--more irritating--the teenagers who are supposed to help with the children. And to make matters worse--here's the part that prevents me from thinking of good music--I'm a little ashamed to admit this--I have a Justin Timberlake song stuck in my head. It got there this morning at the gym, it was briefly replaced by the song the farmer sung to pig in the movie Babe "If I had words to make a day for you..." but then Justin came back. Sigh. I can't listen to music at work, my portable cd player is not in my car, so it will be at least another hour before I can turn on something good at home. I hope I don't go completely batshit insane before then.
