Oh, this is all a bit of a head fuck. Sam wrote and told me that numb have gone all technologyie and got their own fully functional forum exchanging musical news and opinions. Or else recreating the sounds one might make whilst having gay sex.

Well, whatever floats your boat. Well done for making it to Nottingham and good luck for Thursday, I always did love the Angel with it�s reasonably priced alcopops and early Incubus tracks on the Jukebox. (Slight moistening of pants at thought of Brandon). On second thoughts the alcopops aren�t all that reasonably priced, it�s just they seem it in context to life over here where cocktails cost 8 quid each. And that�s without a paper parasol.

I have been sick with �dingue� a tropical fever like malaria which sounds more exotic than it is and treatment of which consisted of spending a week on the sofa watching the French equivalent of MTV and spewing at intervals. Spewing part may have been due to frequent play being awarded to S Club fricking 7�s new single. And what�s this all-new-porn-star Britney thing about? Well she looks great, although I think wearing your pants on the outside of your trews should be left to Superman, even if they are pink. And unfortunately the closest the French get to metal is turning up the volume on Celine Dion. Although they do have an advert for SOAD�s American tour every so often which lasts about ten seconds. If I close my eyes I�m almost at Rock City. Almost.

I have been trying to start the Guadeloupean contingent of the numb appreciation society. I printed out the interview from the BBC website and made my pupils answer questions on it for homework. I�m getting carried away on the music front over here. Next class I�m teaching �Away in a manger�. Christmas carols rule, how about a cover of �When Santa got stuck up the chimney� for the next CD?

Off to check out the price of flights to Turkey, feel like a bit of Eda power, the Caribbean is starting to piss me off.

PS. How can I get in touch with Christophe? I had a dream last night that he was a secret millionaire who stored all his money up in a big vault in the forest with a secret password (the vault not the forest). Must be about time to make contact...!!
