Hello to all the you out there. I am Bulgarian living in America, in the DFW area to be more specific. I am 25 years old and have been in the US for 12 years. When people ask me if I feel more Amereican or Bulgarian the answer comes too quickly. I AM BULGARIAN.
When I have not gone home for a year or two I feel sooooo homesick and sad. I have lived half my life there and half my life here. Yet home is where the heart is and my heart and soul are when and where I am Bulgarians . So it saddens me to hear that Bulgarians abroad behave in such a way. I am always looking for Bulgarians where ever I go. I work as a flight attendant and the second I recognize an accent from my neck of the woods I introduce myself hope that they are from the homeland. I have met many Bulgarians like that, and hope to meet more. I can not wait to go back home for a VISIT =).
