They signed a player from us, Scott Gooding. I thought he was quite average despite signing for us from Crystal Palace's strong reserve team set up. I recall they offered him something like 250-300 notes a week plus some kind of Herculaean signing on fee.

Believe me money is being chucked at that club - thought to be the highest playing budget outside the Conference.
