Has potential to be a great player and had one terrific season at Whyteleafe winning all of three of the club's player of the year awards (Players', Manager's and Suppoters'). He left Whyteleafe the following season to spend 12 months in Australia having failed to get signed by two league clubs with whom he trained during the season: Brighton & Brentford. Incidentally, one Duncan Alger spent much of the season in Australia with Dan.

On returning to the UK, Dan signed for Sutton United but failed to live up to his earlier promise (perhaps 12 months lounging about in Oz had an impact) and returned to 'Leafe on loan from Gander Green Lane.

He started last season at Whyteleafe but left due to work commitments - I believe he was unable to play or train midweek. He subsequently turned up at Corinthian-Casuals. It would be interesting to know whether Dan's work circumstances have changed.

On his day he was a great player and had all the potential to carve out a pro career. I'm everyone at Whyteleafe will follow his progress with some interest.
