Put it this way, I don't remember him being a bad kicker.

He only left Whyteleafe when our club captain Danny Rose returned from injury after best part of a season out. He went to Croydon to understudy Les Cleevely who immediately got injured and Matty was thereafter playing Premier Division football (until they came down of course).
