I have a hobie 16 and I'll be taking it to Lake Somerville to camp and sail for the weekend, 4 or 5 years ago I went to Welch park and had a good time but when I went back it was closed down,, is it open now?
I really like the lake,, I just cant seem to find the perfect place to camp,, any suggstions?
I'm not a real hellraiser or anything but I do like a little space and maybe some running water. But most important is a place to beach the Hobie

Last year I went to a park on the South end of the lake ,, forget wich one but it was a Corps park ,, it was raining cold and misarable but the guard still made us put our smoldering pittiful excuse for a camp fire out cause there was a burn band in effect.

Thanks for any input.
