the fiend fest was sold out for san fran, i got in right as DI startd and they did pretty well cept the singer talked alot. balzac was very impressive and bad ass their guitarist was sooooooo good and they opened w day the earth caught on fire and played my fav bleeding light, i think agnostic front was next and they were ok good w the crowd, then ummmm the dickies came on and they were cool kinda different and the singer was an ass kinda but it was fukin funny, then the damned took soooooooooooooo fucking long to set up my god, but they played a looong time and played songs like neat neat neat and smash it up. then finnaly the misfits came on and started w hybrid moments and the crowd fucking blew up . they played tons of songs ike i turned into a martian , halloween, astro zombies, surprisingly american psycho w/ a sweet intro of the ambonible dr phibes, then they played walk among us dig up her bones, attitude, kong at the gates into forbiden zone into crawling eye which kicked ass by the way. this is no particular order btw. then they played like 5 50s songs which were bad ass but went too long and would rather have heard fits songs. this magic moment was done very very well. they played a bunch of shitty fucking ramones songs like pet semetary i wanna b sedated and blitzcreig bop or whatver. then they ended with monster mash. great show for my first time seeing the fits but the things that sucked ass were they ended w monster mash, way too many covers played, and no energy from a frontman singer. o yea they played some kinda hate 2 very well.i got to meet jerry after and had him sign my famous monster digipack and took a pic w him . great show i had a lot of fun but the damned took way too fucking long to set up
