Catching sight of the watching crowd, she faltered slightly coming out of an otherwise clean jump but refocused her attention at Nikki's directing nudge. She had a job to do and the dark mare would not want to let her kind handler down. Locking her attention on the approaching jump, she adjusted her speed to carry them over the high rail. With only the slightest of touches, a rear hoof grazed the rail but did not knock it down. Cantering out, the mare snorted with her stride, knowing that she would need to tidy up her performance from here if she were to give this run her best.
