Subject: Miss Milwaukee Area 2018

With the 2019 Miss Milwaukee Area and Miss Milwaukee Area's Outstanding Teen pageant coming up exactly a week from today, Saturday, February 23, it might be a good idea for the pageant judges to quiz the contestants on state politics.

An embarrassment can be seen on the Miss Milwaukee Area Facebook page where reigning Miss Milwaukee 2018, Haley Schonter is photographs in front of the Wisconsin state capitol over in Madison, and posed this comment on January 7, 2019:

"Happy Inauguration Day! Watch our new state congressmen get sworn in today on Channel 3000 or WKOW at 11 a.m.!"

Need we remind Haley that Wisconsin's Congresss members were inaugurated four days earlier on January 3rd in Washington, D.C. (not in Madison on January 7th)??

The inauguration in Madison on January 7th was for half of the Wisconsin state senate, and the entire Wisconsin state assembly (not state Congress members).

Oddly enough and most embarrassing of all, Haley is a political science student at UW-Madison where they must not properly teach the most elementary basics of government to their students, or Haley fell asleep all during her classes. Bizarro, and she posted this on the pageant Facebook page for all of the world to see. And by the way, not all are "Congressmen", some are "Congresswomen" working in Washington, not Madison.
