The pale mane that fell over her slender neck rippled as the wind ran it's invisible fingers through it, toying with the ever-frusterating forelock that relentlessly blocked her vision. Buttercup-hooves left faint impressions in the moist soil as she moved along, her shadow pulling at her like an insolent child, always the pervaier of her presence. Unsure of herself as she may have been, caution and warriness had kept her alive and she was not going to give up her best alies now.
