Date Posted: 07:48:30 09/11/04 Sat The tragedy had brought the mares there. The band that no longer had s stallion due to the humans. Most were sad and very scared. The lead mare a large pinto, she was a larger breed for sure standing almost 16hhs. She was acting as the lead of the group since no stallion was there to protect them. As big as she was the mared almost pass from far away. Sticking close to her side was a yearling Palomino filly. Others in a herd included a 2 yr old chestnut, and a 3 yr old black both obviously at least half arabian. Then lone off in the shadows was a small appy filly that obviously needed milk but her thin frame made it obvious she wasnt getting milk. Death was on the little faes door.
